Yum. These buttery waffles hardly need much topping. Try serving with a light fruit spread or a bit of syrup.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
1/4 cup melted margarine
1 cup soymilk
Directions:
1. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Mix the flax seeds with the margarine and milk, then fold into the dry ingredients. Spoon about 1/3 cup of the mixture into a hot waffle iron for each waffle, and bake according to manufacturer's directions.
