Vegan Coconut Shrimp

Store bought vegan shrimp make this dish a possibility. I find mine at Whole Foods grocery stores...I think it's Whole Kitchen brand. Maybe. It's good! Serve it with Mango Salsa.
Ingredients:
2 boxes vegan “shrimp
flour
applesauce
dry flake coconut
oil for frying
salt
toothpicks
Directions:
1. Coat “shrimp” in flour, then applesauce.
2. Coat “shrimp” well in coconut, making sure to really pack it on there.
3. Fry in oil over med-high heat until golden brown. If “shrimp” begin to burn, turn down heat.
4. Drain on paper towels and salt lightly while still hot.
5. Place each “shrimp” on a toothpick, arrange on platter, and serve.
