Vegan Chocolate Banana Bread

better than brownies! good right out of the oven and refrigerated
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
1/3 c cocoa powder
1 c brown sugar
1 t baking powder
1/4 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
2 t soy flour, defatted
1/2 c water
1/2 c applesauce
2 t canola oil
3 large bananas
1 t vanilla extract
2 t raw sugar
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. mash bananas in a large bowl
3. mix all liquids and applesauce with bananas
4. whisk together all dry ingredients in a separate bowl
5. pour dry ingredients into wet and mix just until blended
6. bake at 350 degrees for about an hour for a loaf or about 25 minutes for muffins
7. you can sprinkle the top with raw sugar, if you like
