Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Walnut Cookies

Add walnuts to Quaker's Oatmeal Raisin cookies to give them an extra crunch. These cookies are great for any occasion and can be made any time thoughout the year.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick oats or 3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
4. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
5. Mix well.
6. Stir in oat, raisins, and walnuts.
7. Mix well.
8. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookies sheet.
9. Bake 10-13 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Cook on cookie sheet and remove to wire rack.
11. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
