This makes a healthy and filling breakfast. Recipe is from Fitness magazine. Ingredients:
1 egg |
2 egg whites |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
cinnamon, dash |
nutmeg, dash |
2 slices whole grain bread |
1/2 medium apple, sliced |
Directions:
1. Whisk eggs, vanilla and spices together. 2. Dip bread into egg mixture. 3. Spray skillet with cooking spray and saute bread on each side until brown (about 3 minutes). 4. Top with apple slices. |
