I like this sauce on bread puddings..spice cakes..etc.. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
3/4 cup milk |
1/4 cup light corn syrup |
1/2-1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. melt butter in small bine sugar and cornstarch.
2. add to butter.mix well.
3. stir in milk and cornsyrup.cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil - boil for 1 minute.
4. remove from heat and stir in vanilla -
5. serve over bread puddings etc.
