Vanilla Citrus Punch

Found this recipe in one of my old recipe books....a very refreshing punch. Prep time does not include time required for chilling.
Ingredients:
3 cups fresh orange juice
1 orange, sliced
1 cup fresh pineapple juice or 1 cup unsweetened canned pineapple juice
1/4 cup freh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 whole vanilla bean
1 1/2 cups ginger ale or 1 1/2 cups club soda, chilled
Directions:
1. Combine all the juices in a large pitcher.
2. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds into the juice. Stir with a whisk to separate the vanilla seeds.
3. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours or overnight.
4. Just before serving, add the ginger ale (or club soda) and serve in ice-filled glasses.
