Vanilla Bean Frozen Drink - Like Starbucks

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 2 cups ice, crushed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Make the syrup: combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Off heat, stir in the vanilla paste, cool completely.
  4. To make drink: place ice in blender, chop.
  5. Add milk and vanilla syrup.
  6. Blend until smooth.
  7. You might need to stop and start the blender and scrape down the sides to get a smooth blend.
  8. Pour into chilled 8 oz. glasses.
  9. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
  10. Add a straw and enjoy!
  11. Remaining syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
