UPSIDE DOWN UGLY CHOCOLATE CAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Pearson Estate in Caddo Mills Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 chocolate cake mix |
1/2 cup cocoa |
2 cups hot water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to instructions on box.
3. Mix marshmallows, brown sugar, cocoa and water.
4. Pour into a greased rectangular pan.
5. Spoon cake mix on top of marshmallow mixture but don't mix.
6. Bake 45 minutes then after cake cools flip over onto a cookie sheet.
