Who doesn't love shrimp. This is a twist to an oldie but goody. I like to serve them warm, but cold is just as good. They are usually gone before they hit the table. You are going to want to double if it's for company.
Ingredients:
1 lb extra large shrimp (cleaned)
1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons brown sugar
extra virgin olive oil (drizzle)
nance's sharp & creamy mustard (optional)
Directions:
1. Place Old Bay, Garlic, Onion Powder & Cayenne in a baggie.
2. Put shrimp in baggie & toss.
3. Put olive oil in saute pan on medium heat. Place shrimp in pan & cook until pink. (both sides).
4. Right before they are done, sprinkle brown sugar on shrimp and toss.
5. I like to eat them hot - Ummmmm.
6. You don't need anything to dip into, but Nance's Sharp & Creamy Mustard is a great combo with the sweet & spicy flavor of the shrimp.
