These little jewels remind me of the old Mckenzies Bakery in Louisiana! I am almost embarrassed to submit this because it is sooooo easy and quick! BUT then again.... It looks like the real deal and taste like the real deal, so who is the wiser right? Read more ? I made these in a pinch when we needed a dessert at school at the last minute. Everyone lobed them and I am sure you will too!
Ingredients:
1 package keebler pecan or regular sandies shortbread cookies(about 24 cookies)
1 canister store bought chocolate fudge frosting(betty crocker or pillsbury)
pecans
* if you want to be fancy you can always melt some chocolate or caramel and drizzle over the top
Directions:
1. OK, three steps your done: Even my husband could do this!(well maybe!)
2. Step one... Open package of cookies and place on serving tray.
3. Step two... Open frosting and top each cookie with a spoonful of frosting
4. Step Three... Place a pecan on top of each cookie and refrigerate or freeze if your in a hurry, until frosting hardens a little(about 30 minutes)
5. Your done! Now wasn't that fast?
