Ground Turkey Stuffed Red Pepper Best to use ground turkey breast (99% fat free). 12 oz of the turkey combo fills 3 red peppers
Ingredients:
5 oz turkey, ground
37 g (sliced) onion
4 tsp parsley, fresh
1 red pepper, sweet
3 2/5 g oregano
1 tsp (dried) thyme
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degress
2. In bowl combine:
3. Turkey
4. Onion
5. Oregano
6. Thyme
7. Brown in skillet for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and add:
8. fresh parsley
9. Pinch of salt and pepper
10. Fill red pepper with ground turkey mix. Place 2 Tbsp of water in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake 15 minutes. Remove foil, bake another 5 minutes. Can add a Tbsp of Marinara sauce on top of ground turkey.
