I love sloppy joes and this is a great way to enjoy them without all the fat.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 whole wheat hamburger buns
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook the turkey and onion until turkey is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the remaining ingredients (except the buns); simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Serve on buns.
