Very lean breakfast protein
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon coriander
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon chicken broth
Directions:
1. Combine turkey and dry spices in large bowl. Mix together thoroughly.
2. Add chicken broth, mixing well. Let stand 15-20 minutes.
3. Form turkey into 8 patties, approximately 3/4 thick.
4. Cook patties in non-stick skillet over medium heat, about 7-8 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked.
5. Freeze on a baking sheet.
6. Seal in vacuum seal bags.
7. Defrost and heat in microwave ~70 seconds.
