Turkey Chili
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
1 (15 ounce) can mixed beans (for chili)
1 cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
Directions:
1. Brown turkey, onions and garlic.
2. Drain fat.
3. Add beans, spices and tomato sauce.
4. Simmer for 1-2 hours.
5. Can add veggies as well, such as zucchini.
