This is a fast prep meal. I make this for game days when we are running kids to and from. I have also used chicken for the turkey. This is great served with warm rolls and more parmesan cheese.
Ingredients:
9 ounces refrigerated fettuccine or 9 ounces linguine
3/4 cup frozen baby sweet peas
1 1/2 ounces four cheese sauce mix
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon margarine or 1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked turkey
1/4 cup sliced roasted red pepper (from a jar)
1 ounce shredded fresh parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Cook fettuccine with peas to desired doneness as directed on pkg.
2. Drain.
3. Meanwhile, prepare sauce mix with milk and margarine as directed on pkg.
4. Stir in turkey and roasted peppers; cook over medium-low heat just until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
5. Add sauce to fettuccine and peas; toss to mix.
6. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
