Turkey Black Bean Chili

Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies, peppers
2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes with puree
2 (16 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
Directions:
1. In a large pot, cook turkey and onion in oil over medium high heat, stirring to break up lumps, until turkey is no longer pink, 5-7 minutes.
2. Drain off any excess fat.
3. Add all remaining ingredients; stir to mix well.
4. Heat to boiling, stirring often.
5. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
