Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Drain tuna ina collander and shred with fingers until no clumps remain
  2. Pour tuna into a bowl and mix in lemon juice,salt,pepper,celery,onion,pickles,garlic and parsley until evenly blended
  3. Fold in mustard and mayonnaise until tuna is evenly moisened
  4. Makes about 2 cups/enough for 4 sandwiches-can be refrigerated for 3 days.
  5. TS with balsamic vinegar and grapes-
  6. Follow classic recipe omitting lemon,pickles,garlic and parsley
  7. Add 2 Tbs. baslamic vinegar,1 cup of halved red seedless grapes,1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds and 2 tsp.minced thyme leafs
  8. Curried TS with apple and currants-
  9. Omit garlic,pickles and parsley
  10. Add 1 medium firm juicy apple ,1/4 diced,(1 cup),1/4 cup currants and 2 Tbs minced fresh basil,mix 1 Tbs. curry powder with mayonnaise and fold in
  11. TS with lime and horseradish-
  12. Omit lemon,pickles and garlic. add 2 Tbs. lime juice,1/2 tsp. lime zest and 3 Tbs. horseradish
  13. TS with cauflower,jalapino and celantro
  14. Omit pickles,garlic and parsley. add 1 cup coliflower florets cut in 1/2 pieces,2 Tbs.minced jalapino,1/4 cup minced scallions and 2 Tbs minced fresh cilantro
