Based on a recipe from Flavors , a San Antonio Junior League cookbook.
Ingredients:
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can solid white tuna
1 1/2 teaspoons mustard
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 teaspoons onion salt
2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped
3 english muffins, split and toasted
6 tomatoes, slices
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Mis the first six ingredients and mound onto muffins. Top with tomato slices.
2. Combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise and cheese; spread over sandwiches.
3. Broil until they puff.
