Tuna Casserole

This was a Wednesday night dish my mom always made. it's quick, easy and delish. I've never found anybody ( even the non tuna lovers) who haven't loved it.
Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles
2 (12 ounce) cans tuna
2 (12 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (12 ounce) can peas
1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms (optional)
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. >Boil and cook the noodles as the package states.
2. > Mix the soup with 1 1/2 cans of water until it's a thick, but creamy consistency ( about 10 minutes).
3. > Add the 2 cans of tuna and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. >Add in the noodles, peas and mushrooms.
5. >Combine all ingredients together, and serve.
6. Enjoy!
