This smells so yummy while baking. My family really enjoyed these pork chops we thought they had so much flavor. When I made these pork chops I used a heaping tablespoon of mayonnaise, I divided up about a 1/2 cup parmesan cheese among 3 chops and I did not use the balsamic vinegar. I found this recipe on Obesity Help.
Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) thick boneless pork chops
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 ounce parmesan cheese (about 1/4 cup, the kind in a can)
2 slices onions (very thin slices)
salt and pepper (or desired seasoning)
1 teaspoon butter (optional)
balsamic vinegar
Directions:
1. Place the pork chops in a greased baking dish. Season liberally on both sides.
2. Top each with mayonnaise, then parmesan. Top each with a couple of very small onion slices and a pat of butter.
3. Bake, uncovered, at 350-375ยบ for 1 hour (see the comment below) or until the meat is done. Check them well before the hour is up.
4. (I recommend checking them after about 35-40 minutes. The last 2 minutes you ban broil if they don't look crispy enough).
5. Just before you serve them, drizzle a tiny amount of balsamic vinegar over the top.
