Tropical Fruit Salad Platter

This is perfect for an outdoor cookout when it's really hot, it's cool and refreshing and goes great with grilled food.
Ingredients:
1 papaya, sliced, reserve seeds for dressing
2 to 3 kiwi fruit, sliced in rounds
1 1/2 cups fresh cherries
2 oranges, unpeeled, sliced in rounds and quartered
2 bananas, sliced diagonally
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
------papaya seed dressing
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 egg
3/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 1/2 cups salad oil
1 tbsp. chopped green onion
3 tbsp. papaya seeds
Directions:
1. Arrange the papaya, kiwi fruit, cherries, oranges, bananas and
2. strawberries around the edges of the serving platter.
3. Prepare dressing. Pour into small serving bowl and place in center
4. of platter.
5. Serve fruit with dressing spooned over individual portions.
6. -Papaya Seed Dressing-
7. Place sugar, salt, mustard, egg and vinegar in blender container or the container of a food processor fitted with a steel blade.
8. Turn blender or processor on, and very slowly add the oil, blending until a thick dressing forms.
9. Add the onion and papaya seeds. Mix to blend —do not process to puree, as dressing is more attractive with onion and seeds still visible. Store leftover dressing in refrigerator. Makes 3 cups dressing.
