These cookies are delicious! I found this recipe in a Betty Crocker recipe magazine. I used golden raisins, and omitted the peanuts because I used crunchy peanut butter. I have also used a little less sugar, and still tasted great.
Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup shortening
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups m&m's
1 cup peanuts
3/4 cup golden raisin
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In large bowl beat sugars, peanut butter, margarine, shortening, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer until creamy.
3. Stir in flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt until will blended.
4. Stir in candies, peanuts and raisins.
5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork.
6. Bake 9-10 minutes or until light brown.
7. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
