Tortellini Broccoli Caesars Salad

Very tasty and elegant version of a pasta salad. Easy to put together and makes a perfectly balanced meal or side for grilled meats. Mixing raw veggies with cooked pasta helps. It's a textural thing.
Ingredients:
frozen cheese tortellini
broccoli
celery
caesar's salad dressing
freshly cracked black pepper
freshly grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Cut broccoli heads into small florets.
2. Peel broccoli stems and slice thinly- set aside.
3. Thinly slice celery, put with broccoli stems.
4. In a medium pot, cook tortellini according to package.
5. Just a few minutes before the pasta is done, add the florets and cook until they are just tender and still bright green.
6. Drain pasta and florets and put in an ice water bath to stop cooking and cool.
7. In a large bowl, add pasta and florets to celery and stems.
8. Dress and toss ingredients well.
9. Add pepper and additional parmesan to taste just before serving.
10. *All ingredients are to taste...add more or less according to your preference.
11. Grilled chicken breast is an additional option.
