Tom's Vanilla Frozen Yogurt

A very good low-fat treat.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 (1/4 ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 dash salt
2 cups skim milk
5 cups plain low-fat yogurt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, gelatin and salt in a medium saucepan; add milk and let stand one minute.
2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, five minutes or until gelatin and sugar dissolve; let cool.
3. Stir in yogurt and vanilla; chill.
4. Pour mixture into freezer can of a gallon freezer.
5. Serve immediately or let ripen 1 hour.
6. Yields 10- 1/2 cups.
