My husband's long time friend Tom loves to mix drinks, and he is pretty good at it too. Surprisingly, he is not a bartender. He knows I like coffee and came up with this drink for me last time we visited him. It was strong, but good. We used Starbucks brand for the coffee and cream liqueur but Zaar didn't recognize it. You can use Kahlua for the coffee liqueur. However, the Starbucks CREAM Liqueur tastes a little different them Irish Cream but that is the closest thing that Zaar would recognize; it would still taste good (not exactly the same, but close and still good).
Ingredients:
1 ounce coffee liqueur (we used starbucks)
1 ounce irish cream (we used starbucks cream liqueur, which tastes a little different than irish cream)
1 ounce vodka (vanilla vodka is good in this too)
2 ounces milk (you can use more or less if desired for a stronger, or not so strong, drink)
ice
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a martini shaker.
2. Shake (covered) for a minute or until shaker becomes very cold and a little frosty on the outside.
3. Strain into a martini glass, or any glass of your choice, and enjoy.
