This recipe is wonderful as a side dish and goes well with just about anything. I love to bring this recipe to Parties since it's easy to make and everyone loves it. My family has always loved Italian food and this is a wonderful way to include some protein and veggies to everyone's diet. This recipe is also a wonderful go-to kind of thing for last minute additions to get togethers you may have forgotten about.
Ingredients:
16 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, pearls
10 ounces grape tomatoes, halved
3/4 cup zesty italian salad dressing
1 tablespoon fresh cracked pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
6 garlic cloves, through a press
Directions:
1. Drain mozzarella pearls, and place in a medium sized serving bowl.
2. Cut Grape tomatoes in halve and add to the Mozzarella.
3. Run the largest garlic cloves through the garlic press.
4. Add the other ingredients to the bowl.
5. Mix well.
6. Chill well for a couple of hours, or overnight.
7. The longer it sits the more intense the flavor becomes.
8. Serve alone or with toast or crackers.
