Tomato Soup With Wine

This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them on here so I can find them easier. Note: Chilling time is not included nor is time to boil eggs.
Ingredients:
3 cups tomato juice
2 cups white wine
3 tablespoons sugar
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Directions:
1. Combine the tomato juice, wine, and sugar. Heat to blend. Chill. Serve with floating slices of egg.
