This recipe goes with Veal Parmesan
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, undrained
1 (8-ounce) can no-salt-added tomato sauce
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, and saute 5 minutes. Stir in wine and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes.
