This is a great breakfast idea if you prefer savory morning fare. Think of it as a mini pizza!
Ingredients:
2 slices rye bread
8 fresh basil leaves
4 tomato slices
2 (1-ounce) slices part-skim mozzarella
1 orange, cut into wedges
Directions:
1. Top each bread slice with 4 basil leaves, 2 tomato slices, and 1 slice cheese.
2. Melt open-faced sandwiches in toaster oven or under broiler 4–5 minutes or until cheese is bubbling. Serve with orange wedges.
