4 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, drained
1 1/2 cups chopped onion (about 1 large)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook, uncovered, 30 minutes or until mixture is reduced to 3 cups, stirring often.
