Toasted Almond Truffles

These confections are so sinfully good that it is difficult to eat just one of these beauties!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 pkg (11.5 oz) chocolate morsels
1/2 to 1 tsp almond extract
1 cup finely chopped almonds (that have been toasted)
Directions:
1. Combine evaporated milk and sugar in a sauce pan.
2. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
3. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in morsels and extract until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.
6. Chill for 45 minutes.
7. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in chopped almonds.
8. Chill until ready to serve.
