a recipe that I came up with a friend of mine hat we have tweaked a tad.
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked chopped beef
1 (1 lb) can refried beans
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped ripe olives
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
3 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup crushed corn flakes
6 taco shells
shredded lettuce
chopped tomato
shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except the last 5 in a slow cooker, and mix well.
2. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
3. Just before serving, fold in crushed corn flakes.
4. Spoon mixture into taco shells, and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
