This recipe can be made to be low fat and still taste the same.. Ive made this and its so good. Different fruits can be used..This recipe came out of Light and Tasty
Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 8oz carton lemon yogurt
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
1 8oz carton whipped topping, thawed
1 angel food cake, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh raspberries
2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the condensed milk, yogurt, lemon juice, and peel.
2. Fold in 2 cups of the whipped topping.
3. In a 3 qt trifle bowl or deep salad bowl, layer a third of the cake, a third of the lemon mixture and all the strawberries.
4. Repeat cake and lemon mixture layers.
5. Top with blueberries.
6. Repeat cake and lemon mixture.
7. Top with all the raspberries.
8. Spread remaining whipped topping over raspberries; sprinkle with almonds.
9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
