Thick And Creamy Chili Pie

I love this thick chili with cheese and corn chips. It is a really hearty meal
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes
2 (10 3/4 oz) cans tomato soup
2 (15 oz) cans chili beans
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 tsp ground oregano
1 t basil
2-3 t chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp ground thyme
10 3/4 oz water
dash cayenne pepper (optional)
shredded cheddar cheese
frito's corn chips
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in skillet, drain and move back to heat.
2. Stir in basil and cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes.
3. Put beef in 5 1/2 qt. slow cooker and add all other wet ingredients and mix well.
4. Add seasonings to taste remembering that flavors will become stronger as it cooks.
5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
6. Cover bottom of soup bowl with corn chips, layer in chili and top with shredded cheese.
7. Serve immediately after layering.
