The Sea Hag's French Silk Pie

We visited The Sea Hag restaurant on our honeymoon and bought their recipe book (because their chowder was AMAZING). I've been making their french silk pie ever since!
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature (no exceptions)
3 ounces chocolate (unsweetened baker's)
4 eggs
1 pie crust (cookie crumb variety)
Directions:
1. In a double boiler, start melting the chocolate. When it's melted, take it off the boiler and let it cool.
2. Cream the butter and sugar with a mixer for about 2 minutes.
3. Add 2 eggs, mix on high for 2 minutes. It's important to mix for the ENTIRE two minutes.
4. Add cooled chocolate and mix until combined.
5. Add the last two eggs and mix on high for another 2 minutes.
6. Scoop into the pie crust and freeze for an hour.
