This recipe dates back to the 1950s when my mother was a young second lieutenant's wife in the Air Force. A general's wife gave her this recipe and it's been a family favorite ever since. Even people who don't like mushrooms will eat it...just don't tell them the ingredients until after they try it. So very simple and always gets rave reviews!
Ingredients:
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can campbell's cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or too taste)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients with a hand mixer. Refrigerate overnight. Serve with chips or veggies.
