Ingredients:
1 whole(s) butternut squash
1 stick(s) cinnamon
8 whole(s) cloves
2 cup(s) fresh cranberries
1 whole(s) granny smith apple
1 cup(s) honey
1/4 cup(s) light brown sugar
1 whole(s) nutmeg
1 cup(s) orange juice
1 whole(s) orange rind
1 cup(s) water
Directions:
1. Peel and seed butternut squash and cut into 1 inch cubes. Peel granny smith apple and cut into 1 inch cubes. Place orange rind, nutmeg, cinnamon stick, and cloves in cheesecloth and tie up bundle.
2. Place all ingredients into saucepot with cheesecloth bundle, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. Allow to rest for at least 30 minutes prior to serving.
