Ingredients:
beef
Directions:
1. /2 lb ground chuck
2. /2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
3. tbsp sour cream
4. tbsp soy sauce
5. tbsp fresh lime juice
6. tbsp fresh cilantro (minced fresh cilantro leaves)
7. tsp fresh ginger (peeled and grated)
8. tsp light brown sugar
9. tsp crushed red pepper (flakes)
10. /2 tsp sea salt (fine)
11. /2 tsp ground pepper (finely)
12. tsp cayenne (optional)
13. Hamburger buns
14. Lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onion
15. BBQ Sauce
16. Prepare a medium hot fire on your grill (I have gas grill).
17. Combine beef, peanut butter, sour cream, soy sauce, lime juice, cilantro, ginger, brown sugar, red pepper, salt and black pepper (cayenne opitonal) in a large bowl, blending well with your hands. Shape into 6 patties 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick.
18. Place directly over coals, cover and grill to your desired degree of doneness, 5-7 minutes for medium rare.
19. Place burgers on buns and top with lettuce tomatoes and onions and BBQ sauce.
20. **Chef Note: I skip #4 and like to top with my favorite Asian/Thai slaw- I have also found that a thin layer of peanut butter (as crazy as it sounds) on the bun gives it an amazing Thai flavor. Enjoy!
