Thai Base Sauce: Sweet and Sour

This is the base for many Thai sauces I'll be posting.... Make some up and keep it on hand, it'll keep in your refrigerator in a tightly closed jar for about half a year.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup white vinegar
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
2. Heat on medium-low heat, stirring until all ingredients have dissolved/combined.
