Texas Pecan Pie

This is expected at Thanksgiving Dinner.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions:
1. Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl; beat well.
2. Add eggs, and beat well.
3. Stir in pecans.
4. Pour into pastry shell.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
