Haven't tried it yet, but in the search to add some healthier foods (really - anything healthy!) to my diet, this looked interesting.
Ingredients:
1 cup usa lentils, washed and drained
2 cups water
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon red pepper
salt, as needed
tortilla chips
Directions:
1. Combine lentils and water in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes or until soft.
3. Drain and mash lentils.
4. Combine with remaining ingredients and mix well.
5. Serve with tortilla chips.
