A quick, easy and impressive little appetizer tart..I always start my Mexican Feast nights with these!
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
1 c. shredded tex-mex style cheese
1 large egg
1 can green chilis, diced fine
dash of chili powder
48 scoop shaped tortilla chips
salsa for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Beat cream cheese with egg, fold in cheese, chilis and chili powder.
3. Arrange corn chips on a baking sheet and fill with cheese mixture.
4. Bake until filling sets, about 20 minutes
5. Place a bit of drained salsa on top, for garnish, and a dollop of sour cream, if you wish.
