This is a quick, one-skillet dish with an ole' touch! From the American Diabetes Association. olive oil, boneless pork loin chops, salsa, diced green chilies, ground cumin cvt
Ingredients:
2 tsp olive oil
16 oz pork loin chops, net from 30 oz bone-in fresh
1 1/2 cup salsa
4 oz diced green chilies
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Directions:
1. Next time, soak chilies and drain to reduce salt. Do not use the cheap chops because they take so long to de-bone and remove fat. (I'll have to change that line in the recipe.)
2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 3 minutes on each side. Add the remaining ingredients. Lower the heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
