This is such an easy, tangy wing sauce, great for appetizers, or as a main course, using chicken legs! ...And I always seem to have most of the ingredients on hand! Inspired by Tyler Florence.
Ingredients:
2 dozen chicken wings or drums, rinsed and patted dry
kosher salt
black pepper
1 tbs sesame seeds, lightly toasted
cilantro or parsley leaves (opt)
1 cup low sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tbs rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
5 garlic cloves, minced
red pepper flakes
1 tsp ground ginger
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
3. Lay wings or drums in single layer on baking sheet
4. Bake for 30 minutes, until cooked through.
5. Meanwhile combine teriyaki sauce ingredients in saucepan. (soy sauce through ginger)
