  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes . Strain basting sauce, discarding bay leaves, cloves, garlic, lemon, and onion. Use sauce to baste pork during barbecue procedure.
