Entered for safe-keeping. From Taj in New York City. This is a non-alcoholic version of Jerri Banks’s Pomander, made with silver tequila and Falernum, a Caribbean liqueur flavored with lime.
Ingredients:
ice
1 ounce pomegranate juice
1/2 ounce mango nectar or 1/2 ounce mango juice
1/2 ounce clove tea
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce club soda, chilled
1 orange slice, sliced as a wheel, for garnish
Directions:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the pomegranate juice, mango nectar, Clove Tea and lime juice and shake well.
3. Strain into a chilled martini glass, top with the club soda and garnish with the orange wheel.
