Tater-dipped Oven Fried Chicken

Crispy oven fried chicken without the mess! This is a perfect week night meal because not only is it easy to prepare, it tastes great too. Whip up some mashed potatoes and you've got a real comfort meal!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup instant potato flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 -3 lbs frying chickens, cut up
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Place margarine in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; melt in oven.
3. In plastic bag, combine potato flakes, garlic salt, seasoned pepper, and seasoning salt.
4. Add chicken one at a time and shake in the plastic bag.
5. Place chicken skin-side down in melted margarine.
6. Bake 30 minutes, uncovered, turn chicken.
7. Bake 30 minutes more.
