I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account. I have not yet tried it out. If you do before me, please leave comments as to how it was.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb taro root (starchy yam with a rough, brown skin, not the sweet, orange-colored type)
1 1/4 lbs chicken
2 tablespoons ginger
1/2 cup scallion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 dash sugar
1/2 teaspoon cooking wine
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon oil
Directions:
1. Cut taro, chicken, and scallion into pieces (approx. 1 ).
2. Coat chicken evenly with (A) and let sit for 25 minutes.
3. Put everything on a plate and steam for 20 minutes at high heat.
