TANGY MEATBALLS AND KRAUT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Delaney Estate in Waco, Texas in 1994.
Ingredients:
1 small white onion chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
15 ounce can tomato sauce
15 ounce sauerkraut with juice
24 cooked meatballs
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan stir together onion, brown sugar, tomato sauce and sauerkraut.
2. Add meatballs and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
